HONOLULU — Access Information Management, one of the fastest-growing companies in the records and information management industry, has expanded the company’s Hawaii operations with the purchase of certain assets of SIH LLC and Recycling Solutions LLC.

The expansion makes Access the largest AAA National Association for Information Destruction-certified provider of secure destruction and records management services in Hawaii.

Access provides businesses a single-source partner to address all records storage, secure destruction, data protection and digital information management needs.

Founded in 1981, the company was formerly known as FileMinders and ShredEx.

With the recent expansion, the company now has nearly 60 team members across the state offering services statewide with facilities on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island.

“The expansion of Access’ Hawaii operations is a win-win for our new and existing clients,” said Rob Alston, president of Access Information Management.

“Now, even more clients have access to our comprehensive suite of services, which allows them to focus on their core business while reducing the costs and risks associated with managing company records and information.”
