HONOLULU — Tesoro stations on Maui, Oahu and the Big Island will collect donations for Special Olympics Hawaii from Sept. 1 to Oct. 5, 2010.

In celebration of Tesoro Hawaii’s fifth annual Fueling Dreams fund-raiser to benefit Special Olympics, the company will also hold a drawing to give away three $500 fuel cards.

For every $5 donation, shoppers will receive one entry. Every $10 donation will receive two entries, and a $20 donation will receive ten entries into the drawing (no purchase necessary).

“Special Olympics Hawaii touches the lives of so many here in the islands, and we look forward to this month-long fund-raising event…,” said Eric Lee, Tesoro Hawaii’s regional senior manager-retail.

“It’s a great feeling to know that we have literally been able to fuel the dreams of these great athletes, and hope that we’ll be able to continue to reach out to even more athletes, both children and adults, who can benefit from Special Olympics Hawaii.”
