Finders Keepers to host Live Benefit Auction

By Staff | May 27, 2010

KAHULUI — Everyone is invited to the first Finders Keepers Live Benefit Auction on Saturday, May 29, at 7 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Mana‘o Radio’s commercial-free local programming and community events.

The auction is open to the public, collectors, designers, homeowners or just the curious at heart. The selection is gigantic, and many items will grace the showroom floor for the first time.

Entering Finders Keepers is like a treasure hunt with collections from around the world. Some of the many items that will be auctioned off are koa furniture, Rolex watches, rare Hawaiiana, Indonesian arts, Chinese antiques, mirrors, stone items, stained glass and much more. Many items are one-of-a-kind.

“The auction is a way to benefit the community and highlight our wonderful treasures,” said Alicia de Ramer, co-owner of Finders Keepers.

“This auction is also a celebration of our 17 years in business, with many more to come!”

Joe Teipel, Hawaii’s premier auctioneer, will be onsite live.

To preview all items, visit Finders Keepers, 400 Hana Highway, on Friday, May 28, from noon to 6 p.m. and at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, prior to the auction. Online bidding will be available at www.finderskeeperslive.com.
