By Staff | Apr 29, 2010

LAHAINA — The Lahainaluna High School Foundation recently received two grants to benefit the Lahainaluna High School stadium project, “Re-do the Imu!”

The Alexander & Baldwin Foundation awarded the project $5,000, which was designated to help fund the $1.6 million improvements to the athletic field and track currently underway.

The Foundation was also awarded $2,000 from NFL Charities to support youth initiatives in 2010. This is the second NFL Charities grant that the foundation has received in support of the stadium project.

A third award was received in 2004 to support the purchase of bleachers for the athletic field.

The LHS Foundation thanks the A&B Foundation and NFL Charities for their support in this important community project.
