LAHAINA — Keawe Business Center (KBC) tenants Valley Isle Community Federal Credit Union and Old Republic Title & Escrow of Hawaii, along with KBC owner/developer Kent McNaughton, invite the community to attend their Grand Opening on Saturday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lahaina Business Park.

The event will begin with an opening Hawaiian blessing ceremony. Radio station KPOA will be on hand with great music and contests, and four-time Grammy Award winner George Kahumoku Jr. will give a special performance.

There will also be exciting prize drawings with gift certificates for air travel, dining, fashion, food and car care, as well as fun food, refreshments, balloons, keiki face painting, and tenant and local merchant displays.

Valley Isle Community Federal Credit Union is partnering with Aloha United Way to provide “Free Tax Help” at their office in Suite 102. Trained and IRS-certified volunteers will be at this location to help taxpayers file their federal and state returns for free. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (walk-in only), with the last appointment at 2:30 p.m.

Valley Isle Community Federal Credit Union moved its Lahaina Branch offices to the newly completed Keawe Business Center in January 2010.

Valley Isle completed a merger with Lahaina Federal Credit Union in 2008. It now has a combined, island-wide membership of over 11,600 and assets totaling nearly $100 million.

The Lahaina credit union members will enjoy the benefits of a modern new office that offers exceptional banking products and services — with plenty of free parking — at a very convenient location. For more information, call 667-2641.

Old Republic Title & Escrow of Hawaii’s new Lahaina Branch office opened in December 2009. The company — which has two branches on Maui and nine branches statewide — is part of the Western Division of Old Republic Title, which includes California, Arizona, Nevada and Washington State.

Old Republic Title has a long history of safeguarding customers, and it’s a recognized industry leader in providing products, services and technologies that help prevent title disputes. For more information, call 661-1999.

This new professional building is strategically located by Keawe Street, the first phase of the new Lahaina Bypass highway, in the thriving Lahaina Business Park at 34 Kupuohi St.

McNaughton announced that KBC is offering limited special Grand Opening pricing for new office purchases or leases in this brand new, ocean view, Class “A” professional/medical building.

McNaughton, along with his real estate representatives, will be on hand to meet with those wishing to secure space in what promises to be “West Maui’s best business address.”
