WAILUKU — The county Office of Economic Development announced that the deadline to submit information on eco-conscious businesses for free inclusion in “The Maui County Green Book” is March 10.

The county has teamed with Haynes Publishing Company of Wailuku to create a comprehensive directory of all eco-conscious businesses on Maui, Molokai and Lanai that provide sustainable and/or environmentally friendly products or services.

Publication of “The Maui County Green Book” is scheduled for May 2010. The print edition will be produced on recycled paper with soy ink. The guide will also be available digitally and in the form of a searchable, interactive web directory.
