The Hyatt Regency Maui recently donated and setup 32 gently used computers and monitors at King Kamehameha III Elementary School. Pendergast, management information system manager at the Hyatt, facilitated the donation, and resort engineers Simpliciano and Tejero came to the school on Jan. 21 to install the computers and tidy up the wiring in the classrooms that received the new equipment.

LAHAINA — Hollywood Theaters last week re-launched its Lahaina Wharf Cinemas 3 movie theater located in The Wharf Cinema Center.

“We are thrilled to provide Lahaina’s Wharf theater with updates to the interior that our guests have come to expect for a best-in-class experience,” said Erin Anderson of Hollywood Theaters.

The theaters now feature upgraded seats, new paint, wall-to-wall carpeting and Dolby Digital sound — the best the industry offers in theater acoustics.
