Mainaga

KAHULUI — Fire Chief Jeffrey Murray announced that Lee Mainaga was promoted from captain to fire services chief on January 1, 2010.

A badge-pinning ceremony took place on Jan. 11 at the Kahului Fire Station.

Mainaga joined the Maui County Department of Fire and Public Safety on March 16, 1990.

He has served at the Lanai, Kihei, Paia, Wailea and Hana stations throughout his career.
