MEO to offer business planning classes
WAILUKU — Maui Economic Opportunity’s Business Development Corp. will present a daytime series of classes for entrepreneurs in November and December.
These popular Core Four Business Planning Classes cover how to set goals, do market research, determine pricing, make the sale, understand and create cash flow projections and write a business plan — everything you need to know to start or grow a business
Free and open to the public, introductory classes will be held Nov. 3 and 5 from 9 to 10 a.m.
The five-week series of classes begins on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and continues from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Dec. 10.
Graduation, also known as Banker’s Night, will be held on Dec. 15.
Registration is required for the five-week series. Cost of the class is $275.
Grants from the county Office of Economic Development, state Office of Community Services and Office of Hawaiian Affairs have made financial assistance available for many students.
All classes will be held at MEO’s Family Center at 99 Mahalani St. in Wailuku.
