Halloween Cannery Kid’s Night returns on Oct. 31

Keiki can enjoy trick-or-treating from store to store, face painting by Aloha Characters (Cinderella, Moana, Spider Man and Captain America) and photos with Frankenstein by Imaging Plus Hawaii from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Halloween Cannery Kid’s Night.

LAHAINA – Lahaina Cannery Mall will provide a safe, air-conditioned place for families to enjoy Halloween magic, trick-or-treating, face painting by popular Disney characters and its famous keiki costume contest this Oct. 31 from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

Spellbinding family magic from local favorite Holden Mowat begins at 5 p.m. The keiki costume contest follows at 6 p.m. More than a dozen prizes will be given away in four age groups (0-2, 3-4, 5-8, and 9-12).

Come in costume. The event is free for the whole family.

From 5 to 8:30 p.m., keiki can enjoy trick-or-treating from store to store, face painting by Aloha Characters (Cinderella, Moana, Spider Man and Captain America) and photos with Frankenstein by Imaging Plus Hawaii.

Talented Maui hula halau continue to perform weekly at Lahaina Cannery Mall. The free cultural entertainment takes place center stage in the air-conditioned complex every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. as well as every Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.

Other free family entertainment this month includes Maui magician Mowat with his interactive, all-ages magic-comedy performance at center stage. The magic veteran from the award-winning Kupanaha Magic Dinner Show performs every Saturday at noon. In addition, free ukulele lessons are held Tuesdays at 5:45 p.m., free hula lessons start at 5 p.m. on Thursdays, and Maui Toy Works holds Yu-Gi-Oh Card Sessions from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
