By Staff | Sep 28, 2017

WAILEA – The American Cancer Society HopeFest Maui Gala presents “Maui by Moonlight” as a celebration of the local community and a showcase of the best Maui has to offer.

More than 150 guests are expected to attend the benefit on Saturday, Sept. 30, at 5:30 p.m. at The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.

The evening begins with a special drink by Ocean Vodka and silent auction items that include hotel stays, fine dining, sunset sails and more. Guests will be treated to a gourmet dinner buffet paired with unique handcrafted wine by MauiWine.

Maui’s own Tony Takitani will return as emcee and auctioneer, while fellow Mauian and five-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Napua Greig will headline entertainment.

All net proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Clarence T. Ching Hope Lodge Hawaii. Hope Lodge Hawaii is a free place to stay for adult cancer patients and their caregivers when their best hope for effective treatment is in Honolulu.

Since opening in November 2016, Hope Lodge Hawaii has served 160 unique cancer patients, provided over 2,230 nights of free lodging and saved patients $335,000 in potential costs.
