By Staff | Sep 14, 2017

LAHAINA – Come see Beth Cooper’s new linoleum cut artwork at Lahaina Arts Society’s Old Jail Gallery in the Old Lahaina Courthouse.

She will be the featured artist until Oct. 2 and will be under the Banyan Tree on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

Cooper has been working on linoleum cut prints and will be showing the latest pieces she’s printed.

The bold, stark contrast of the black ink on white paper, and some prints of handmade, hand-marbled paper, are available for purchase. The work is framed and ready to ship anywhere.

Her paintings are bright and vibrant.

Cooper was born and raised here in Hawaii. She has been a wild land firefighter, a school teacher and now a full-time artist here on Maui. Her work is found all over the world.

The gallery is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, phone LAS at 661-0111.
