NAPILI – George Kahumoku Jr.’s Grammy Award-winning Slack Key Show-Masters of Hawaiian Music will present a very special all-stars performance on Wednesday, June 21, at 7:30 p.m. at Napili Kai Beach Resort’s Aloha Pavilion.

This showcase event will feature special performances by top Hawaii slack key guitar and ukulele artists, including Kahumoku, Led Kaapana, Jeff Peterson, Herb Ohta Jr., Kevin Brown, Paul Togioka and more.

This special evening will also feature George’s Slack Key Show ‘Ohana of Peter deAquino, Sterling Seaton, Max Angel and Wainani Kealoha performing beautiful hula. Artists’ CDs and DVDs will be available for purchase and autographs during the intermission.

This week is also a very special one for George and Nancy Kahumoku, as they celebrate with over 100 new and returning students the 20th anniversary of George’s annual Slack Key Guitar & Ukulele Workshop. The Kahumoku workshop faculty and students will proudly open the free Maui Slack Key Guitar Festival at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on June 25 at 1 p.m.
