Maui Prep’s ‘School House Rock Live!’ opening at Kumulani Chapel

KAPALUA – Maui Preparatory Academy’s Lower School Drama Club is ready to deliver a vibrant production of “School House Rock Live!” The show begins at 7 p.m. on March 3 and 4 at Kumulani Chapel (The Barn) in Kapalua.

Based on the Emmy Award-winning cartoon series by Scott Ferguson, the story follows a nervous schoolteacher who tries to relax by watching television when different personalities come to life, showing how music and imagination can unlock knowledge and win the students over.

Classic hits like “Just a Bill” and “Conjunction Junction” promise to entertain the whole family and bring nostalgia to those who grew up with this Saturday morning favorite. You don’t want to miss this!

Tickets are $15 for VIP seats and $10 for general admission. Lap children under two are free. Buy tickets from any cast member, at the Maui Prep office or at Lahaina Music.
