Imua Garza’s interest in music started at the age of nine when he began playing the piano and soon was playing the ukulele, guitar and electric bass.

In 1996, Imua founded his first group, the Opihi Pickers, with his brother, Hoku, their cousin, Kahale, and friend, Kevin. Imua served as producer, composer, lead vocalist and ukulele player in this popular Hawaiian reggae band until 2008.

Today, Imua is president of Zeo Music, an independent recording studio, a record producer, arranger and performer.
