LAHAINA – The holidays have arrived at Lahaina Cannery Mall with a whole month of special holiday entertainment and activities.

Live holiday entertainment continues each week in December with free performances by community and school groups, and popular island musicians.

Lahaina Cannery Mall will get into the holiday spirit again this year by giving away two tickets to Las Vegas as part of the center’s annual “Very Vegas Christmas” holiday giveaway. The winner will be drawn between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, at center stage.

In the annual “Festival of Trees” decoration contest, shoppers can vote for their favorite trees until Dec. 10. The holiday trees – decorated with hand-made ornaments by Maui schools and community groups – will be on display until after Christmas.

The holiday entertainment schedule includes: holiday jazz with Rock Hendricks on Dec. 8 from 6 to 7 p.m.; Lokelani Intermediate School Band & Ukulele on Dec. 9 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Maui Music Mission Keiki Ukulele at 11 a.m., family magic with Holden Mowat at noon, hula by Halau Hula O Keola Ali’iokekai at 1 p.m., island holiday music with The Mondokane Duo at 2:30 p.m., and a Yu-Gi-Oh Card Session at 3 p.m. on Dec. 10; Maui Brass Ensemble at noon, hula with Na Kamali’i Nani O Lahaina at 1 p.m., Sacred Hearts Honors Choir at 2:30 p.m., and Yu-Gi-Oh Card Session at 3 p.m. on Dec. 11; Maui Music Mission from 6 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 15; Lahaina-Honolua Seniors Choir at 11 a.m., family magic with Holden Mowat at noon, hula by Te Tiare Patitifa at 1 p.m., island holiday music with The Mondokane Duo at 2:30 p.m. and Yu-Gi-Oh Card Session at 3 p.m. on Dec. 17; Tuba Christmas at noon, hula by Te Tiare Patitifa at 1 p.m., holiday island jazz with Benny Uyetake and Rock Hendricks at 2:30 p.m., and Yu-Gi-Oh Card Session at 3 p.m. on Dec. 18; and holiday jazz with Rock Hendricks from 6 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 22.

Talk story with Santa and capture the season with holiday photo packages available from Imaging Plus Hawaii every Saturdayand Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Dec. 24, and Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Free holiday gift wrapping is offered Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., provided by The Salvation Army Lahaina Outpost.

Lahaina Cannery Mall is Maui’s only fully enclosed, air-conditioned shopping complex.
