Wharf Cinema Center to celebrate 33 years of karaoke

By Staff | Oct 27, 2016

LAHAINA – Halloween happens on Oct. 31 at The Wharf Cinema Center. Following the keiki parade down Front Street, The Wharf will once again host its frightfully fun Halloween festivity. The annual Costume Karaoke Contest is in its 33rd year, and The Wharf is set to make it the most ghoulishly delightful yet.

The spooktacular celebration begins at 5 p.m. with registration, and contestants can warm up their vocal cords from 6 to 7 p.m. The main event starts at 7 p.m., and The Wharf will be hosting a special judging table. Competition will be fierce, so bring your best!

Admission and registration are free. All ghosts, goblins, witches, vampires, werewolves, monsters and more are welcome to join – just be sure to bring your own costume!

All restaurants will be open with special Halloween hours and will remain open late into the evening

Following the Ghoulish Gala, the entertainment continues at Wharf restaurants. Cool Cat Cafe will present “Night of the Living Dread” with Marty Dread from 10 p.m. until closing. Down the Hatch will host their own Halloween party with a costume contest and Deejay Love.

The Wharf Shops & Restaurants are located at 658 Front St. across from the historic Banyan Tree. Call 661-8748 or contact marketing@thewharfshops.com for more information.
