LAHAINA – West Maui’s newest art activity is relocating on Monday, July 11. Maui Paint Parties, a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to create their own Maui art, is moving uptown to Pi Artisan Pizzeria located at 900 Front St. at The Outlets of Maui.

Anita Marci Studios has teamed up with Debbi and Stuart Katz to present the Maui Paint Parties Happy Hour Event.

Adults and children over 14 are invited to enjoy drinks, pupus and painting in a festive, party-style atmosphere during Happy Hour from 3 to 5 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday afternoon.

Escape the heat of the day and enjoy crisp cool air conditioning and Happy Hour Specials that include ice-cold beer on tap, wine and the pizzeria’s fabulous food. Parking is convenient at The Outlets of Maui parking lot (free for guests with complimentary restaurant validation).

No experience is necessary and all art materials are included. Bring only your creativity and desire for fun. Canvases, acrylic paints, brushes, palettes and aprons will be provided – everything you need to make your masterpiece! Paint step by step with Marci from one of her Maui-inspired original paintings.

Marci is an acclaimed, international award-winning artist who has earned nearly 50 awards – including the Top Emerging Artist Award from Art Business News Magazine – during her 30-year art career.

A Maui resident since January 2003, she has taught at The Art School at Kapalua; Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center; Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua; and Maui Marriott Resort and Ocean Club. Marci previously had ten years of teaching experience here and in New York. She returns to teaching after a nine-year hiatus.

Marci said, “I have always enjoyed teaching, and painting is such a great way to connect with your inner artist while also connecting with this beautiful island. Our guests will take home their very own Maui memories in a painting.”

Admission for Maui Paint Parties is $60 per person. A $10 kama’aina discount is given upon reservation confirmation and address verification.
