Art show to support keiki art programs
LAHAINA – Lahaina Arts Association proudly presents the MAHALO show – an art show fundraiser benefitting children’s art education. The show will feature a variety of new and seasoned Maui artists at the Banyan Tree Gallery from June 6 to July 4, 2016.
Historically, Lahaina Arts Association has presented an eclectic collection of work for the June featured wall at the Banyan Tree Gallery in the Old Lahaina Courthouse.
Past featured artists include George Allan, Fred Lorenzo, Jack Hamilton, Julie Houck, Anna Good and many more notable Maui artists.
Originally, this event celebrated LAA’s founders and longtime supporters.
Join LAA for the show reception and awards on Friday, June 24, at 6 p.m. Meet the artists, learn more about LAA, and support children’s art education by purchasing unique, locally made artwork.
The participating artists will donate the majority of each sale to the Lahaina Arts Association’s Maui Youth Art Outreach Program, which serves the children of Maui County through 13 no-cost, weekly art classes.
Classes are held in public schools, housing and youth centers on Maui and Molokai. Arts education is a powerful means for building artistic talents, enhancing academic skills and cultivating lifelong appreciation for the arts.

LAA is honored to have Lahaina Arts Society’s sponsorship each year for this art fundraiser show.
