Popular duo ‘Elua Kane to perform free Hawaiian music concert
LAHAINA – Popular Kihei musicians Kawika Ortiz and Kenny Roberts, known as ‘Elua Kane, will perform at Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s free monthly Hawaiian Music Series concert on Thursday, May 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in front of the Baldwin Home Museum at the corner of Dickenson and Front streets in Lahaina.
The duo performs an eclectic array of music, including traditional Hawaiian, island contemporary, reggae, Top 40 hits, classic rock and country.
Together, with 45 years of musical experience, their acoustic playing style and harmonies flow through to soothe the soul.
Both are songwriters and recording artists. On stage, they have performed for a wide range of audiences and with many of Hawaii’s favorite artists, such as John Cruz, Fiji and Cecilio Rodrigues. They have also performed with renowned musicians like Alan White, Koko Powell and Jeff Katan.
Limited seating is provided; blankets, mats and low beach chairs are welcome.
