The benefit from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on May 5 will feature old-fashioned, outdoor preparation of Tacos al Pastor and live Flamenco music with Indio (right) and Avi from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

KAANAPALI – Sangrita Mexican Grill & Cantina at the Fairway Shops in Kaanapali will hold a fundraiser for the Lahainaluna High School Agriculture Program on Cinco De Mayo (May 5).

There will be live Flamenco music by Indio and Avi, and a special menu from opening to closing.

Keith Ideoka of the Agriculture Program noted, “Chef Paris Nabavi will donate a portion of his food and beverage sales to our Ag and Future Farmers of America (FFA) program to help us cover student travel costs to state competitions, to purchase new tools and to take our students on field trips to local farms.

“This is the fourth year that he has done this for us. Chef Paris also donates his time to teach our students healthy cooking skills through the American Heart Association’s ‘Teens Cook with Heart’ program and donates funds to the Maui School Garden Network and the Grow Some Good program.”
