Kaleo Phillips & Friends to perform free Hawaiian Music Series concert in Lahaina

LAHAINA – Versatile musicians Kaleo Phillips & Friends will perform at Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s free monthly Hawaiian Music Series concert on Thursday, Feb. 25, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in front of the Baldwin Home Museum at the corner of Dickenson and Front streets in Lahaina.
Lahaina native Phillips has been performing professionally for 30 years. He has played with a variety of Hawaiian music artists and toured with many bands across the globe.
He formed the trio Pono with Josh Kahula and Pi’ilani Arias and released a debut album, “Home of Mine,” in 2004, which was received with rave reviews.
Talented Maui musicians ‘Aiau Koa, Allen Koa and Kana Pikini will join Phillips along with hula dancers for a lively, laid-back evening in Lahaina Town.
Limited seating is provided; blankets, mats and low beach chairs are welcome. This ongoing Hawaiian Music Series program is sponsored by the Hawaii Tourism Authority, County of Maui Office of Economic Development and The Outlets of Maui.
