Jerome Amo of Wailuku won The Wharf Cinema Center’s 32nd annual Halloween Ghoulish Gala Karaoke Costume Contest. He sang “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston.

LAHAINA – The Wharf Cinema Center’s 32nd annual Halloween Ghoulish Gala Karaoke Costume Contest drew hundreds of spectators and fantastic singers.

It was a great time celebrating Lahaina’s longest running Halloween party at 32 years.

The grand prize winner was karaoke veteran Jerome Amo of Wailuku, who sang “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston.

Second place went to Ish Trono of Wailuku, who impressed everyone with “Till” by Tony Bennett.

It was almost a Wailuku sweep, but hometown contestant Kristel Manual from Lahaina earned a third place finish with “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston.

The Wharf – located at 658 Front St., across from the Banyan Tree in Lahaina Town – is open from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
