Brian Evans has a new song in “Creature at The Bates Motel.”

KAANAPALI – The Maui Celebrity Series continues on Saturday night, Oct. 24, in the Maui Ballroom at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa with its founder, Brian Evans, performing the classics and his original big band songs such as “At Fenway” and “Creature at The Bates Motel.”

Evans is a singer who has spent a career opening for the likes of Erasure, Joan Rivers and Jay Leno, and recording numerous CDs.

His music is heard on shows such as “BoJack Horseman” and “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Evans will also introduce several stand-up comics who will open the show, all from Maui, as they seek a spot to also open for other Maui Celebrity Series concerts.

Evans will croon the night away and debut his new single, “Maui Moon,” performing it for the first time at this show before its worldwide release in December.

“I look forward to performing on Maui and to giving some local comics the chance to perform to a larger crowd, and even bigger stars in the future,” said Evans. “This is what it’s all about to me.”
