LAHAINA – Mark DeColibus is Lahaina Arts Society’s featured artist in February.
His show, “Variety is the Spice of Life,” will be on display in the Banyan Tree Gallery in the Old Lahaina Courthouse from Feb. 2 through March 4.
The public is invited to the show’s opening reception on Friday, Feb. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. Light pupus will be served.
Embracing variety, the show includes watercolors, acrylic, pen and ink, oil painting, pastels and Prisma Color Pencil works.
DeColibus studied art at Long Beach State College; Harbor College, California; and Art Instruction Schools in Minnesota.
“I have been tutored under some of the best artists in Hawaii, have been juried into ‘Art Maui’ and won numerous awards and art shows in California,” he commented.
“I have just completed a couple of pieces of zebras done in pastels, and it is a medium I enjoy working with currently. Please come by and see my exhibit…”
