In related news, local artist Anna Good was a recent guest speaker at the After School Art Club at King Kamehameha III School.
She showcased her beautiful artwork with lifelike pencil drawings of people, watercolor animals in rich bold colors and Impressionistic flowers done with a palette knife in oil paints.
Good spoke to the students about what it takes to become an artist.
She also taught club members a lesson in learning to “see” what they are drawing without looking at our paper.
“It was fantastic! Mahalo, Ms. Good, for helping our art club and our school! The children all learned so much and were all so excited to have you there,” art teacher Stephanie Groom commented.
