LAHAINA – Enjoy great live Hawaiian music by soulful singer Teresa Bright on the Baldwin Home lawn on Thursday, Nov. 10.

Bring your lunch, mats, chairs, friends and family for this free treat from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

A recipient of multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, Bright has been a Hawaii favorite for decades for her enchanting voice and renditions of traditional Hawaiian songs colored with a touch of jazz and blues.

She has received the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts’ highest honor of “Female Vocalist of the Year,” along with many award-winning releases, such as “Self Portrait,” “Painted Tradition,” “A Gallery” and “Quiet Nights.”

Her vast Japanese fan base led Bright to ties with Max Factor, Toyota, NTT Japan, Sapporo Beer and Japan Airlines.

She is best known for her recording of “Poliahu” written by Frank Hewitt, which was named “Song of the Year” in the 1991 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.

Join Lahaina Restoration Foundation under the shade trees and enjoy this free concert with beloved Hawaii contemporary artist Teresa Bright.

This concert is part of the foundation’s ongoing Hawaiian Music Series supported by the Hawaii Tourism Authority and county Office of Economic Development.
