LAHAINA – Maui Preparatory Academy’s Drama Club will perform “A Year With Frog and Toad” on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29-30, at the ‘Ulalena Theater in Old Lahaina Center.

The show will begin at 5 p.m., followed by special performances by Maui Prep’s high school rock band, 7am, at 6 p.m.

Nominated for three 2003 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, “A Year With Frog and Toad” is a song-filled romp that follows the duo through a season of comic adventures, as they and their animal neighbors explore the magic of friendship.

The production is based on the classic children’s “Frog and Toad” books by Arnold Lobel, with music by Robert Reale and book and lyrics by Willie Reale.

The play is suitable for all ages. Selling for $10, general admission tickets are available at Lahaina Music, the Maui Prep Office or at the door.
