‘Casino Royale Joker’s Wild’ to benefit Paia Youth Center
PAIA — Ante up for island youth at the first annual “Casino Royale Joker’s Wild” fundraiser benefitting the Paia Youth & Cultural Center on Saturday, April 2, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Maui Country Club in Sprecklesville.
Guests are encouraged to arrive in their finest “Tropical Elegance” attire for an elegant evening of no-stakes casino games, fine foods and spirits, rollicking entertainment, a live auction, prize giveaways and a few jokers.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to support the program activities at the Paia Youth & Cultural Center and to keep the beachfront facility a safe and fun environment for youth across the Valley Isle.
The Paia Youth & Cultural Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded by grants from the county Department of Housing & Human Concerns, state Office of Youth Services, private foundations, community donations and fundraisers.
Located at 28 Hana Highway, the center’s mission is to “build community through youth” by providing a variety of social, educational, cultural, vocational and recreational activities in a safe and fun environment to the youth of Paia and surrounding communities.
Advance tickets are available for $150 per person, or buy them for $160 per person at the door ($90 is tax-deductible).
