NAPILI — George Kahumoku Jr.’s four-time Grammy Award-winning concert series, the “Slack Key Show — Masters of Hawaiian Music,” is lining up some great new artists for the coming year.

The show, which recently celebrated its seventh anniversary, is expanding its roster to include Ken Emerson (slack key and lap steel), Sean Na’auao (vocalist, composer and slack key guitarist), Maisey Rika (Maori singer and songwriter), John and Hope Keawe (slack key singer/songwriter and dancer), and Herb Ohta Jr. (ukulele) with Jon Yamasato (slack Key).

The series will continue to feature Nathan Aweau, Brother Noland and regulars like Grammy Award winners Ledward Kaapana, Dennis Kamakahi, Richard Ho’opi’i and Jeff Peterson.

The Slack Key Show is performed Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. at Napili Kai Beach Resort’s Aloha Pavilion.

Make reservations online at www.slackkey.com or call 669-3858 to book tickets. The weekly show rate is $39.99 plus tax, and a dinner/show package is available at the resort’s Sea House Restaurant with a beautiful sunset view of Napili Bay.
