Pad Thai Restaurant returns to The Wharf

By Staff | Sep 30, 2010

Jongkonnie Nishimura and her son, Eric, are excited about the new restaurant.

LAHAINA — Five years ago, Jongkonnie Nishimura closed Pad Thai Cuisine due to family demands.

Through the years, she never gave up her love for cooking and the dream of reopening another restaurant.

Today, with the support and encouragement of family and friends, Nishimura is back at The Wharf Cinema Center with Pad Thai Restaurant and “A little taste of Thailand.”

Customers can once again enjoy her award-winning Pad Thai Noodles and local-style foods, such as shoyu chicken, barbecued short ribs, green bean chicken, beef broccoli and more.

Pad Thai Restaurant is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Located on The Wharf’s mid-level, it’s just steps away from the bus stop at the center’s Luakini Street entrance. For more information, call 661-9911.
