Lahaina Gateway to host Classic Car Show fund-raiser

LAHAINA — Lahaina Gateway shopping center invites everyone to come and enjoy its second annual Classic Car Show to benefit Lahainaluna High School Foundation.

This “Gateway to the ’50s” themed event on Saturday, April 17, from 4 to 9 p.m. will feature Maui’s premiere car clubs, Maui Classic Cruisers and Maui Street Rodders, judged trophy awards, fun 1950s and Hawaiian music throughout the event, a great ’50s dance performance at 7 p.m. by Maui Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA), great merchant sales, Classic Car Show logo wear, prize drawings and a “Best Dressed” 1950s-style costume contest.

Non-car club members who wish to bring their classic car or truck to show must contact Bill Robinson at Maui Street Rodders by April 14. (Only members’ cars will be judged for trophy awards).
