With a theme of “Maui Magic,” Sue Thomas has produced sunset paintings at recognizable locations here on Maui. Her show also features landscapes and still life paintings.

LAHAINA — Lahaina Arts Society will feature paintings by Sue Thomas in February.

Her paintings will be available for viewing and purchase in Lahaina Arts Society’s gallery in the Old Lahaina Courthouse.

Residents and visitors are invited to the artist’s reception — come for free pupus and conversation — on Friday, Feb. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. 

Thomas’ work is inspired by her passion for the beautifully diverse locations on Maui. Utilizing bright colors, her oil paintings are a visual response to the sunlight she sees.
