Hula Honeys to perform at Kanikapila with Poki

By Staff | Nov 12, 2009

Longtime friends Ginger Johnson and Robyn Kneubuhl (seated at right) make up the Hula Honeys.

LAHAINA — Visit the Baldwin Home lawn this Thursday, Nov. 12, and join in on the fun at Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s Kanikapila with Poki.

This event from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. includes music, storytelling and lots of laughter.

This month’s special guests are the Hula Honeys.

The group blends vintage Hapa Haole songs with hip jazz classics to create a swinging sweet sound all their own.

While the group performs, the Lei Ladies of the Lahaina-Honolua Senior Citizens Club will string fresh flower lei under the shade of the kou trees on the Baldwin Home Museum lawn along Front Street at Dickenson Street.
