Wo Hing Museum to host Qigong class

Busaba Yip Douglas of Lahaina Restoration Foundation leads participants in basic Qigong movements.

LAHAINA — The public can learn about Qigong, the ancient Chinese self-healing art that combines movement and meditation, on Friday, Sept. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wo Hing Museum.

Museum Docent and Qigong practitioner Busaba Yip Douglas will explain the history, basic principles and key concepts of the movements of Qigong.

Located at 858 Front St., the museum is open Fridays from 1 to 8 p.m. with a $2 general admission fee; kids 12 and under are free.
