KAANAPALI — Hula Grill Kaanapali continues to support its island community by donating $4,076 to the Maui Food Bank.
“In tough economic times, it’s even more important for us to support our community, and we are pleased that our Chef’s Tasting Menu helped to raise much-needed funds for the Maui Food Bank,” said Orrin Cross, general manager of Hula Grill Kaanapali.
Over the past ten months, Hula Grill has offered a daily, three-course Chef’s Tasting Menu from 5 to 6 p.m. for just $23.95, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Maui Food Bank.
Each quarter, a new organization is selected to benefit from the Chef’s Tasting Menu.
Starting on July 13, a dollar from every Chef’s Tasting Menu ordered will benefit the Maui Boy Scouts of America.
The Chef’s Tasting Menu includes a choice from a selection of pupus, entrees and desserts.
Co-owned by T S Merriman Inc., Hula Grill is the brainchild of the late Rob Thibaut of T S Restaurants and Chef Peter Merriman. It is the 12th restaurant under the T S Restaurants banner and the sixth in Hawaii.
