By Staff | Jun 2, 2016

LAHAINA – Lahaina Restoration Foundation announced that work will begin on Thursday, June 2, on the Lahaina Harborfront Improvement Project.

This five-month beautification project will occur at Lahaina Harbor in the planter area where the cannons are located, between the hau tree and the public restrooms.

Access to the harbor will remain open at all times; however, the pedestrian area where the cannons are located will be barricaded.

The first days of the project, Betsill Brothers Construction will be mobilizing, setting up barricades and signage.

During the second week of the project, beginning on Monday, June 6, demolition will begin.
