Maui Preparatory Academy to hold Tom Rosenquist Legacy Golf Tournament

By Staff | Mar 3, 2016

NAPILI – Maui Preparatory Academy announced that as part of its Tenth Anniversary Celebration, the seventh annual Tom Rosenquist Legacy Golf Tournament (“The TOM”) will be held on Saturday, April 9, at The King Kamehameha Golf Club.

Rosenquist, a founder and passionate supporter of Maui Prep and an avid golfer, passed away in September 2009. “The TOM” is one way that the school has chosen to honor his memory and legacy every year.

Individual Entry ($295), Team Entry ($1,180), Hole Sponsorships ($250 and $350) and Reception Tickets ($85) are available; all proceeds benefit the students of Maui Prep. Last year’s event raised over $56,000.

Registration and catered lunch begins at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. This is a scramble format event. An awards cocktail party at 5 p.m. and silent and live auction will follow play.

Adding to the fun will be four hole-in-one contests to win a car, sponsored by Jim Falk’s Valley Isle Motors. Great prizes for top teams include restaurant certificates, overnight stays, outer island golf, golf products and much more.
