WAILUKU - Maui County's largest products show, the annual Made in Maui County Festival, returns on Nov. 6 and 7. Now in its second year, this popular event features over 140 vendors offering a wide variety of made in Hawaii products, including foods, produce, art, crafts, jewelry, fashion, gifts, collectibles and more, all in one location: the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului.

Serious shoppers who want a one-day head start will be allowed to purchase tickets for a special "Shoppers Preview" to be held on Friday, Nov. 6, from 2 to 6 p.m. Attendees will enjoy the festival's opening ceremonies at 5 p.m. in the Yokouchi Pavilion. Light refreshments will be served. Attendees will also receive a free festival tote bag. Cost is $35 per person, and tickets are limited. Purchase tickets at the MACC Box Office by calling (808) 242-SHOW (7469) or visiting www.MauiArts.org.

On Saturday, Nov. 7, the Made in Maui County Festival will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Public admission is $5 (at the gate); children 12 and under are free.

Saturday's festivities will include demonstrations, a fashion show, over 12 food trucks and prize drawings throughout the day. The first 2,000 attendees will receive a free festival tote bag.

On both days, attendees can enter Hawaiian Airlines' drawing for a chance to win 120,000 HawaiianMiles.

"This event showcases the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of each of our more than 140 vendors who help support and strengthen our diverse economic base," said Mayor Alan Arakawa.

"Their businesses provide an amazing array of gifts, artwork, clothing, jewelry, food and collectible items that appeal to visitors and locals alike. These products and vendors are a hallmark of the excellence that abounds in our community, and are truly a special part of what makes Maui County no ka `oi."
