Ikaika Blackburn and Friends will perform a free concert at the Baldwin Home Museum on Thursday, July 31, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Blackburn is a founding member of the recording group Na Hoa and is well-known in the Hawaiian music community.

His debut solo album, "Maliu," is a beautiful compilation of tunes from the islands.

Na Hoa's debut album has been praised for "sweet falsetto singing depicting a nostalgic era in Hawaiian music history, with vibrant voices that captivate one's emotions, ears and heart. Any listener will be held spell-bound by the unmatched harmonies that none but a very few can effectively produce"

The Hawaiian Music Series program is supported by the Hawaii Tourism Authority and county Office of Economic Development.

For more information, call the Lahaina Restoration Foundation office at (808) 661-3262.
