Kaanapali Beach Hotel hires sales manager and marketing assistant

KAANAPALI - Kaanapali Beach Hotel announced that Tiffany Rosenthal has joined the company as sales manager to further develop efforts in the travel agent and group sales markets.

Rosenthal brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, including a stint at Walt Disney World Co., and at Marriott Maui Ocean Club and The Ritz-Carlton Club, Kapalua as marketing executive and guest relations coordinator.

Most recently, she served as marketing manager at Maui Diagnostic Imaging for over three years.

Rosenthal commented, "My previous experience in hospitality and marketing has allowed me to collaborate with various departments on numerous projects and goals. I am grateful for the opportunity to utilize these experiences to support my efforts at Kaanapali Beach Hotel."

In addition, Jennifer Welsh joined the sales and marketing team as marketing assistant.

Welsh brings ten years of marketing experience to her role at Kaanapali Beach Hotel.

During her employment as marketing coordinator at Kapalua Resort, she managed media planning for golf, tennis, retail and signature events, including the PGA Tour golf tournament and Kapalua Wine & Food Festival.

In addition, Welsh served as the projects manager for the Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce in Wisconsin, where she developed and executed events and fundraisers to support the community, small business and tourism.

"I am very happy to be back on Maui and have the opportunity to work at 'Hawaii's Most Hawaiian Hotel,' " said Welsh.

"With a stronger focus on global marketing from HTA, it is essential for Kaanapali Beach Hotel to continue to lead the visitor industry in the preservation of Hawaiian culture," said hotel General Manager Mike White.

"As we share our Hawaiian culture with various cultures across the world, we look to additional staff to not only help us continue to place an emphasis on Po'okela, the excellence for which we are known, but to help us capture expected growth in global market share that will result from HTA's efforts."
