Beneficiaries of the 2014 Hyundai Tournament of Champions include several Maui non-profits.

As part of their relationship with the tournament, these designated beneficiaries assisted in promoting the event, offsetting costs, providing volunteers and much more.

Additionally, donations were made to both the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association and Maui Junior Golf for their commitment to promoting and growing the game of golf among Hawaii's youth.

Several local non-profits also benefitted from the tournament through its Golf for Maui Charities program, which gave 501(c)(3) organizations the opportunity to promote the sale of tickets to this year's tournament and receive 100 percent of the net proceeds. The participating charities included Hale Makua Health Services, Chaplains for Christ International, Paia Youth & Cultural Center, Maui Preparatory Academy, Maria Lanakila Church, Hale Kau Kau, Sacred Heart School and Lahainaluna High School.

In conjunction with the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, Hyundai Hope On Wheels awarded a $75,000 Hyundai Scholar Grant for pediatric cancer programs to the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children and held its second annual 5K Run/Walk on Maui during tournament week. Since Hyundai became the tournament's title sponsor, it has donated more than $408,000 to the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children through Hyundai Hope On Wheels.

Hyundai Hope On Wheels, a nonprofit organization committed to helping kids fight cancer, is among the leading private funders of pediatric cancer research in the country.

The 2015 Hyundai Tournament of Champions returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 8-12. All four competitive rounds will be broadcast on the Golf Channel.
