LAHAINA – The popular Hawaiian Music Series continues on Thursday, March 27, with a free concert by longtime Maui entertainer Merv Oana. Join him on the lawn in front of the Baldwin Home Museum (corner of Dickenson and Front streets) from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for a relaxing evening as the sun sets and turns into a brilliant starry night sky.

Oana is a guitarist and songwriter who recently released his third CD. Embracing the different styles of music that have come across his life here in the islands, Oana writes of love, passion and romantic island life in a soulful, contemporary Hawaiian music style.

His first release, “Everyday Island Life,” debuted in 1997. He was a founding member of the Iao Stream Band and has performed with Today’s Special, Maui Power Station, ‘Oana Groove and Kilohana.
