LahainaTown Action Committee holding Maui Short Story Competition

January 23, 2014
Lahaina News

LAHAINA - LahainaTown Action Committee is looking for short stories! Think you can write a winning story in less than 1,500 words? Enter the first annual Maui Short Story Competition for your chance to win.

The competition is meant to encourage previously unpublished writers to explore writing about the island of Maui from a unique perspective.

This contest is open genre; however, LAC strongly recommends keeping the subject to Maui (for example, Maui life, heritage, culture, the land and the ocean surrounding our island).
