December 5, 2013
Lahaina News

LAHAINA - The holiday season kicks into high gear on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Lahaina Cannery Mall with the arrival of Santa and the Kahiau Angel Tree giving project donation drive in partnership with the Salvation Army Lahaina Outpost.

Along with emcee Shaggy from Q103, volunteers will collect donations, gift cards and unwrapped gifts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with live music from Henry Kapono and entertainment throughout the day.

All donations will aid Maui's less fortunate children during the holiday season. For more information on the Kahiau Angel Tree, call Vidella at 281-4467.

Live holiday entertainment continues each week in December with free performances by Hawaii musicians, halau, and church and school groups.

Lahaina Cannery Mall will get into the holiday spirit again this year by giving away two tickets to Las Vegas as part of the center's annual "Very Vegas Christmas" holiday giveaway.

The winner will be drawn at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, at center stage. Visit any Lahaina Cannery Mall merchant for details.

While shopping, check out the holiday trees decorated with handmade ornaments by Maui schools and community groups as part of the annual "Festival of Trees" decoration contest.
