Whalers Village will host a free Grown on Maui Farmers’ Market on Saturday, Aug. 31, from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Showcasing Grown on Maui agricultural products, the market is produced in cooperation with the Maui County Farm Bureau.

All products offered for sale at the market are "Grown on Maui." Local farmers, food producers and chefs will be on-hand to demonstrate uses for their wares and answer questions.

"We're proud to collaborate with Kaanapali Beach Resort to present the Grown on Maui Market," said Warren Watanabe, executive director of the Maui County Farm Bureau. "The market is the best way to meet farmers, learn about Maui agriculture, and buy produce, flowers and value-added agricultural products."
