RE/MAX Island Properties — Helping Maui

August 15, 2013
BARRY BROWN • RE/MAX Island Properties , Lahaina News

LAHAINA - Earlier this year, Carol and Barry Brown purchased the newest RE/MAX real estate franchise in Hawaii, RE/MAX Island Properties.

They are committed to offering the most professional, personal service possible, and are now proud to announce the opening of their West Maui office in Lahaina in the professional building at 930 Wainee St., Suite #6 (next to the Lahaina Kaiser Clinic), in September.

With signage visibility on Honoapiilani Highway and across from the entrance to the Lahaina Center and soon-to-open Designer Outlet stores, the location is easy to find and provides off-street parking for clients.

In September, Carol and Barry Brown will open their West Maui office in the professional building at 930 Wainee St., Suite #6, in Lahaina.

Barry and Carol are also committed to helping the community. RE/MAX is well-known as a major fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network.

Barry has been a West Maui realtor since 1986, with a long record of volunteer service with the Realtors Association of Maui, including acting as director and chairman of the Legislative and RPAC committees.

Carol volunteers and works part-time for Women Helping Women, a nonprofit organization that has received wonderful support from West Maui residents.

"The mission of Women Helping Women is to end domestic violence through advocacy, education and prevention; and to offer safety, support and empowerment to women and children, victims of domestic violence. We encourage the development of self-esteem, parenting skills, etc., and take pride in supporting the overall program philosophy statement and policies of Women Helping Women," she said.

Carol encourages everyone to join a fundraising event on Sept. 28, 2013, from 10 a.m. to noon at Whalers Village, where Women Helping Women will be hosting the "Walk A Mile In Her Shoes" event to raise awareness about domestic violence.

There will be live music and special gifts from the sponsoring retailers, including Sephora. Barry and Carol hope to see you there!
