Mayor to speak at Lahaina Arts Society’s annual meeting

LAHAINA – Lahaina Arts Society’s Annual Celebration & Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 26, at 6 p.m. in the Pioneer Inn Courtyard.

The public is invited. Light pupus will be offered with refreshments, and a no-host bar will be available. Admission is free.

Special guest speakers will be Mayor Alan Arakawa; Jefferson Stillwell, president of the Art Maui board of directors; and Don McCann, LAS president.

Lahaina Arts Society invites local residents to come meet fellow Maui artists, supporters of the arts and the LAS board members.

LAS is dedicated to showcase, support, market and mentor Maui County artists.

According to LAS, “We would like to take this opportunity to invite residents to learn more about us. If you have ever been interested in joining the arts society, feel free to come talk story!”

Registration begins at 6 p.m., with live entertainment by Barefoot Minded and light pupus until 7 p.m. Following the guest speakers at 7 p.m., election of board members will be held.
