By Staff | Dec 13, 2012

Jason and Jessica Tepora own Bikram Yoga Lahaina.

LAHAINA – Bikram Yoga Lahaina is relocating to 845 Wainee St. effective Wednesday, Dec. 12.

The business was located at 900 Front St.

The brand new studio can be found on the second floor, Unit 204, at Old Lahaina Center across from Foodland.

Bikram Yoga incorporates a series of 26 postures and takes place in a room heated just above body temperature. The studio is owned by the brother and sister team of Jason and Jessica Tepora.

“Due to our considerable growth, we have decided on a bigger location. We are humbled by the overwhelming response of support, excitement and curiosity,” said Jason.

“We are excited, and we look forward to sharing this yoga with as many people as possible. It has been Bikram’s lifelong journey to spread yoga across the world, and we look forward to helping spread yoga across the island of Maui.”

Taught by fully qualified instructors, the studio offers 20 classes each week. Each session runs for 90 minutes and is designed to work every muscle, bone, joint, ligament, tendon, gland and organ in the body.

Classes will remain in operation at the studio’s old address until the grand opening on Dec. 12, with classes beginning at 8 and 10 a.m.
