County seeks proposals for tourism programs

WAILUKU – The County of Maui is soliciting proposals for tourism programs in Maui County for 2013 under the County Product Enrichment Program (CPEP).

Supported through the Hawaii Tourism Authority, the intent of the program is to diversify and enrich Hawaii’s tourism product by developing new and enhancing existing community-based events, experiences and projects related to the niches of agriculture, culture, education, nature, health and wellness, sports and technology.

Legal nonprofit and for-profit organizations and government agencies are eligible to apply.

Written proposals will be due on Nov. 5, 2012.

Application packets are available at the county Office of Economic Development at One Maui Plaza, Suite 305, in Wailuku or via www.mauicounty.gov/oed/cpep.
